Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Will You Do?
- Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions that drive Personal Insurance digital transformation
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, promoting best practices and code quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical approaches and solution strategies
- Drive code reviews, establish testing strategies, and ensure adherence to development standards across the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, providing expert-level problem-solving
- Identify opportunities for technical innovation, process improvement, and platform optimization
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and influence architectural decisions for Salesforce implementations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and knowledge-sharing resources
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications
- Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, integration patterns) strongly preferred but not required for candidates with exceptional engineering fundamentals and commitment to rapidly developing Salesforce expertise
- Demonstrated expertise in database design, optimization, and working with complex data models
- Track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
- Experience making architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Salesforce)
- Background in leading technical projects from conception through production deployment
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
- 6 additional years of software engineering experience.
