How do I get a pharmacy technician job in Colorado Springs?
Focus your search on the health systems clustered near the north and east sides of Colorado Springs, including outpatient clinics, urgent care pharmacies, and the large retail chains along Powers Boulevard and Briargate Parkway. Candidates who hold a current PTCB or ExCPT certification and have experience with high-volume dispensing or pharmacy software stand out with local employers. Applying directly through health system career portals gives you an edge over third-party applications.

About 0% of pharmacy technician openings tied to Colorado Springs are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with those roles concentrated in prior authorization, pharmacy benefits management, and clinical data entry functions rather than traditional dispensing.
How can I get a pharmacy technician job in Colorado Springs with little or no experience?

Volunteering or completing a pharmacy technician program through Pikes Peak State College adds concrete local credentials that Colorado Springs hiring managers recognize.
