How do I get a pharmacy technician job in Colorado Springs?
Focus your search on the health systems clustered near the north and east sides of Colorado Springs, including outpatient clinics, urgent care pharmacies, and the large retail chains along Powers Boulevard and Briargate Parkway. Candidates who hold a current PTCB or ExCPT certification and have experience with high-volume dispensing or pharmacy software stand out with local employers. Applying directly through health system career portals gives you an edge over third-party applications.
Which companies hire pharmacy technicians in Colorado Springs?

Colorado Springs hiring is driven by a mix of large retail pharmacy chains, military-adjacent healthcare facilities serving Fort Carson and Peterson Space Force Base, and regional health system outpatient locations.
Are there remote pharmacy technician jobs in Colorado Springs?
Yes, though remote opportunities are limited by nature since most pharmacy technician work requires on-site dispensing, patient interaction, or controlled-substance handling. About 0% of pharmacy technician openings tied to Colorado Springs are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with those roles concentrated in prior authorization, pharmacy benefits management, and clinical data entry functions rather than traditional dispensing.
How can I get a pharmacy technician job in Colorado Springs with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Colorado Springs is through retail pharmacy chains along the Powers Corridor and Briargate area, which regularly hire pharmacy technician trainees and support on-the-job preparation for state registration. Grocery store pharmacies and urgent care clinics also offer entry-level roles that count toward your hours for certification. Volunteering or completing a pharmacy technician program through Pikes Peak State College adds concrete local credentials that Colorado Springs hiring managers recognize.
Which industries hire the most pharmacy technicians in Colorado Springs?
The sectors hiring the most pharmacy technicians in Colorado Springs are Retail, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Food & Beverage, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026.
