INTRODUCTION
Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our established and growing team in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Anesthesia team consists of 5 physicians and 20 CRNAs, plus an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.
ABOUT THE JOB
Mercy Hospital Southeast:
- Mercy Southeast is licensed for 245 beds and serves a population of 675,000 in a five-state area.
- Diverse set of cases: Ortho (with blocks), Labor and Delivery, Low Volume Healthy Peds (ENT), Spines, Rare Heads, Basic Hearts/CT, Cath Lab, Gyn, Urology, and Other Ancillary Services.
- 3 Cardiac OR’s and 1 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist with Cardiac CRNA’s 24/7.
Mercy Southeast Anesthesia:
- Call rotation 1:5.
- Medical direction with max 1:4.
- No second call duties. Overnight call from home.
- Work exclusively at one hospital.
- No trauma call.
- CRNA takes all intubations and epidurals. Physician called in for OR cases and C-Sections.
- Great work life balance position with excellent relationships between CRNA’s and Physicians.
THIS POSITION OFFERS:
- As a not-for-profit system, Mercy qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
- Annual $5,000 CME allowance
- Comprehensive, day one benefits including health, dental, vision and life
- Retirement (401k/403b/457b) plan
- Occurrence-based malpractice plan
- H1B and J1 Visa Candidates are accepted
- System-wide Epic EMR
