About Us - Operating Room
- Freeman Health System’s main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery
- In this fast paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction
- We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting
What You’ll Do
Under The Direction Of Professional Rn'S, Systematically And Continually Assesses The Physical, Emotional, Clinical, And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.
Requirements:
- Eligible To Sit For Nursing Boards
- Must Successfully Complete RN Residency.
- Must Obtain A Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Registered Nurse License From A Compact State Within Ninety (90) Days After Graduation Or Thirty (30) Days After Passing The NCLEX Exam In A State Other Than Missouri. If Obtaining A Compact License It Must Be Held In The Registered Nurse's State Of Residence.
- Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days Of Hire.
- AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 30 Days.
- RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
Requirements
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
