*This is a hybrid role with three weeks per month onsite (Mon. – Thurs.) and is based out of our New York Office at 12 W. 31st St.
As Public Relations Manager, you will lead earned media and brand communications for Lands’ End, owning the strategy and execution that drive national and local publicity for the brand, and ultimately brand heat & long-term equity. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing, you will direct the company’s press relationships, serve as the primary liaison to the PR agency, and own product placements, brand partnerships/collaborations, and earned influencer relations. You will also conceive and produce experiential, customer- and media/influencer-facing events that bring the brand to life. This is a player-coach role: you will personally drive high-priority earned-media work while managing and developing a PR Coordinator and two PR Assistants. The ideal candidate is a strategically sharp, proactive builder who directs agencies effectively, connects activations to business results, and operates with an entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Press & Media Relations. Develop and execute earned-media strategy to garner national and local publicity. Build and maintain strong media relationships; create and evaluate press releases, talking points, pitches, and media materials; serve as a PR spokesperson for the brand in local markets.
- Agency Liaison. Serve as the primary point of contact for the PR/creator agency. Set priorities, brief, and direct agency work; hold partners accountable to deliverables, timelines, and measurable results; ensure agency activity ladders up to business objectives.
- Product Placements. Own product placement strategy and execution across editorial, broadcast, digital, and entertainment. Manage sample, gifting, and seeding programs to maximize brand visibility and accurate credit.
- Partnerships & Collaborations. Identify, pitch, and manage brand partnerships and collaborations that extend earned reach and align with business goals. Lead cross-functional execution with Merchandising, Creative, and Retail from concept through results.
- Earned Influencer Relations. Build and manage earned (non-paid) influencer and creator relationships that amplify brand storytelling. Cultivate a credible creator ecosystem and coordinate with the Social & Creator team on integrated creator activity.
- Experiential & Events. Conceive and produce experiential, customer-facing and media/influencer-facing events — pop-ups, deskside briefings, media tours, launches, and special events. Ensure each event captures customer acquisition/retention value and delivers visible brand amplification.
- Team Leadership. Manage, coach, and develop a PR Coordinator and two PR Assistants. Set goals, allocate work, and build an accountable, high-performing team; develop talent and reduce single-point-of-knowledge dependencies.
- Planning & Measurement. Create and manage PR budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules. Monitor, analyze, and report earned-media results and ROI to senior leadership; translate data into recommendations and plans.
- Cross-Functional Partnership. Partner with broader internal business stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging delivered in tandem with seasonal priorities.
- Crisis & Issues Management. Manage media inquiries, issues, and reputational risk; provide strategic communications counsel to leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive PR / earned-media experience, ideally in apparel, retail, or consumer brands, including agency management.
- Demonstrated people-management experience; ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
- Proven ability to direct agencies and external partners to measurable outcomes.
- Experience owning product placements, brand partnerships and collaborations, and earned influencer/creator relations.
- Experience conceiving and producing experiential and media/influencer events.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and media-relations skills; strong storytelling and pitching ability.

Senior Level Physician Relations Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level physician relations job?
Employers hiring at the senior level want candidates who have led physician outreach initiatives end to end, not just supported them. Demonstrating that you have owned referral growth targets, managed complex stakeholder relationships across clinical and administrative teams, and influenced strategic decisions will set you apart. A history of mentoring junior liaison staff and translating market data into actionable physician engagement plans is a strong differentiator at this stage.
Which companies hire senior level physician relationss?
Companies hiring senior level physician relationss right now include NVIDIA, Highwire, and Advocate Aurora Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level is led by health systems, academic medical centers, specialty hospital networks, and managed care organizations that need experienced professionals to own high-stakes physician partnerships.
Are there remote senior level physician relations jobs?
Yes, though the field skews toward in-person and hybrid given the relationship-driven nature of the work. About 21% of senior level physician relations openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with fully remote roles more common in market development, analytics-focused liaison strategy, and regional program leadership positions that do not require daily on-site presence.
What makes a physician relations role senior level?
Senior physician relations roles are defined by ownership and scope rather than task execution. At this level, professionals set engagement strategy, manage relationships with high-value physician groups and service line leaders, and are accountable for measurable referral and network outcomes. They typically mentor or supervise junior liaisons, contribute to business development planning, and operate with significant autonomy across a defined region or service area.
Which industries hire the most senior level physician relationss?
Senior level physician relations roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Education, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive the most hiring because they operate complex, multi-site provider networks where experienced liaison leadership is essential to sustaining referral volume, expanding specialist access, and strengthening physician alignment with organizational growth goals.
