INTRODUCTION
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Senior Principal Designer skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D for our Dallas or Fort Worth offices. The ideal individual would be proficient in creating water and sewer infrastructure plans. This includes being well experienced in preparing Site Piping plans, Plan and Profile plans, and Detail drawings with proficiency in Pipe Networks and Pressure Networks. Experience should include Site Grading, Corridors, and managing Data Shortcuts. Additionally, experienced in leading large-sized projects and working with engineers and supporting staff, supporting contract document design for water, sewer, force main, and pump station facility projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing Base drawings from Surveys
Developing Plan and Profile plans, Yard Piping plans, Sections, and Detail drawings for various conveyance infrastructure projects
Developing grading plans from surfaces and corridors
Developing and maintaining base utility drawings from Pipe Networks, Pressure Networks, Grading
Managing multiple projects and coordination with Project Managers, and other discipline staff throughout project execution
Responsible for QAQC of drawing standards and ensure drawing compliance with Hazen and client CAD standards, Styles and SOP’s
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of technical school CAD design certificate with emphasis on Civil 3D preferred
AutoCAD 2D skills required

Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in leading and coordinating drawing production for large sized projects
Experience in directing and mentoring less experienced designers
* 15 plus years of CAD Design/Drafting experience
