We are looking for a talented AWS Platform Engineer Principal to join our team specializing in Systems/IT for our Corporate organization in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive automation excellence by designing and implementing scalable solutions that streamline infrastructure provisioning, reduce manual effort, and accelerate deployment cycles.
- Set technical direction by leading the creation of system architectures, infrastructure designs, and detailed documentation that guide consistent, high-quality solution delivery.
- Ensure secure, high-performing systems by actively participating in design, cybersecurity, and code reviews to uphold architectural standards, security principles, and performance expectations.
- Enable seamless integration by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure new solutions align with and enhance existing infrastructure and platforms.
- Strengthen system resilience by identifying vulnerabilities and leading enhancements that improve system stability, security posture, and overall reliability.
- Optimize performance and availability by proactively monitoring system health, analyzing trends, and driving tuning and capacity planning initiatives across environments.
- Lead complex issue resolution by troubleshooting and resolving critical infrastructure challenges, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Deliver strategic integrations by partnering with vendors and internal teams to plan and execute complex system integrations that support business growth and innovation.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

L3+ AWS Platform Lead (7-9+ Years Experience)
Role Overview
An experienced AWS Platform Lead with 7–9+ years of hands-on expertise in automation using Terraform and CloudFormation, resource deployment through GitHub CI/CD, and strong platform governance. This role involves guiding teams on technical solution design, deployment feasibility, and supporting application teams by translating requirements into scalable AWS solutions. The engineer will also manage backlog prioritization, feature delivery, and ensure compliance with AWS governance and security standards.
