Job Overview:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement of materials and supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality products at the best possible prices. This role involves coordinating outside purchases from quote through billing and maintaining effective communication with vendors to meet company requirements.

Schedule Details:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Compensation Details & Benefits:

$55,000-$60,000 annual salary

What You'll Do:

• Manage Purchasing & Vendor Relationships
  Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. Ensure suppliers meet expectations for pricing, quality, and service.
• Source & Negotiate with Suppliers
  Identify and develop new supply sources as needed while negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements. Continuously look for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Track Orders & Ensure Timely Delivery
  Monitor order status and coordinate with vendors to ensure materials and components arrive on time. Communicate updates internally to keep operations running smoothly.
• Coordinate with Internal Teams
  Work closely with departments such as production, sales, and accounting to understand needs and resolve issues. Support business operations by ensuring materials are available when needed.
• Maintain Accuracy & Resolve Issues
  Keep accurate purchasing records, documentation, and inventory data. Assist with invoice discrepancies and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.

What We're Looking For:

Extensive experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, or a related field, with a proven ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate effectively.Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.Excellent communication skills, both with vendors and internal teams.Ability to read and interpret purchasing-related documents, including catalogs and technical manuals.Strong organizational and math skills, with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
