Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Processing: Efficiently manage the end-to-end claims process in collaboration with the third-party administrator, from initial submission to final resolution.
- Damage Assessment: Assess and evaluate the extent of vehicle damage to determine appropriate repair or replacement actions.
- Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate in partnership with the third-party administrator and Legal Department to achieve fair and optimal claim settlements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all claims, correspondence, and relevant documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all insurance regulations and industry standards.
- Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service by keeping internal and external stakeholders informed throughout the claims process and addressing their concerns.
- Data Analysis: Analyze claims data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on claims activities and performance metrics for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, or Insurance).
- At least five years' experience in claims management within the automotive industry or a related field; experience with Liability and first party Property claims is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and leverage data.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with claim management systems (i.e., Origami).
