Responsibilities and Expectations:
The Sanford Service Center is looking for a Production Coordinator to manage all inbound and outbound materials, equipment, parts, tools, etc. and any documentation associated with the items.
- Examine inbound and outbound shipment for correct item, quantity, and condition.
- Compare records such as bill of lading, packing slip, purchase order, and sales order to verify accuracy.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
- Appropriately package, seal, and accurately label materials for shipping with the use of hand tools, power tools, or postage meter as required.
- Prepare shipment contents per work order documentation ensuring accurate items, quantity, address, shipping method, etc.
- Correspond with vendors and customer representatives as needed to provide shipping information.
- Report problems such as damage, shortages, non conformance to specifications, etc.
- Assemble fabricated parts prior to shipping or placing in inventory.
- Clean, prep, paint, stamp, or assemble sub-components into larger components.
- Perform quality checks and conduct final inspections prior to shipping parts.
- Keep designated Shipping and Receiving area clean.
- Capable and willing to support operations including supporting manufacturing personnel.

Physical Requirements:
This job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods.

Pay Rate Details: Up to $33/hr depending on skills and experience.
