About the Position
As a Mobile ADAS Calibration Technician, you'll travel to customer locations, dealerships, collision centers, and fleet accounts performing Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) calibrations following windshield replacement and collision repairs.
This position includes:
- Dynamic ADAS calibrations
- Static ADAS calibrations
- Pre- and post-scan vehicle diagnostics
- OEM procedure verification
- Customer education
- Documentation and quality control
This is a field-based position operating from a fully equipped mobile service vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform dynamic and static ADAS calibrations
- Complete vehicle pre-scans and post-scans
- Follow OEM calibration procedures
- Diagnose calibration failures and recommend corrective action
- Verify windshield installation quality before calibration
- Maintain calibration equipment and targets
- Upload calibration reports and documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and insurance partners
- Maintain a clean, organized mobile work vehicle
- Represent CarLoop professionally at every customer interaction
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Previous ADAS calibration experience
- Auto glass installation experience
- Automotive diagnostic experience
- Collision repair experience
- ASE certifications (preferred but not required)
Required:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable using tablets, scan tools, and software
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
