Position Summary
Perform routine calibration of Exela equipment. Calibration may include temperature, relative humidity, gas, voltage, pressure, time, rotation, and dimensional, conductivity, mass air flow etc. Following documented procedures using precision standards. Execute calibration procedures and calibration certificates. Perform testing to support the quality management system and report, troubleshoot and make recommendations about quality issues relating to calibration.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine calibration of equipment. Calibrations may include (but not limited to): temperature, relative humidity, density, pressure, vacuum, gas, time, speed, dimensional, conductivity, weight, etc.
- Read and understand SOP's and work instructions to support the manufacturing process and the quality management system.
- Reviews and processes external calibration certificates.
- Complete and maintain all training expectations.
- Performs testing to troubleshoot and make recommendations about quality issues relating to calibration.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of calibration experience; preferably in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted with proper PPE.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17025:2017.
- Attains & maintains aseptic gowning certification.
- Ability to work hours necessary to support shift productions, may include participation in a 24/7 team call out roster.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with math, and measuring skills.
- Demonstrates good organizational skills, high attention to details, effective time management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Results oriented; high level of initiative; must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks given.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Education Requirements
Technical School or Associates Degree.
