We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Permanent Production Scheduler to join our thriving team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects, managing the production scheduling from initial planning to final completion. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to develop and maintain detailed project schedules. JOB DETAILS
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, including project phasing, project milestones, equipment, labor and materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure all project activities are accurately reflected in the schedule.
- Analyze production specifications and data, and propose adjustments to optimize production processes.
- Use advanced Excel skills and data analysis to track, analyze and report on project progress.
- Utilize forecasting techniques to anticipate potential schedule disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to all relevant parties, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Monitor project progress, compare it with the established schedule, and report any project schedule changes.
- Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience within Production Planning and/or Scheduling.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and data analysis, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
- Understanding of inventory planning and demand forecasting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential schedule disruptions and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate schedule updates and changes.
