Round Bagels & Donuts is a high-volume, fast-paced breakfast and lunch restaurant, and we're looking for an experienced Hands-On Operations Leader to help lead our growing team.

We're looking for someone who will partner closely with the owners to help oversee the day-to-day operations, support our team, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience. While the owners remain actively involved in the business, this role is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and making a meaningful impact on the success of the restaurant.

This is not a desk management position.

Our leaders spend the majority of every shift working side-by-side with the team—making sandwiches, serving guests, coaching employees, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer service during our busiest rushes.

If you're looking for a position that's primarily office-based or supervisory without actively participating, this isn't the right fit.

We're looking for someone who leads with integrity, works with a sense of urgency, stays positive under pressure, and believes the best leaders earn respect by setting the example.

Pay & Benefits

• Starting Base Pay: $23.00/hour
• Typical Total Starting Earnings: Approximately $25.00–26.00+/hour
• 90-Day Performance Review: Opportunity for increased compensation based on performance, leadership, reliability, and overall fit.
• Typical Total Earnings After 90 Days: Approximately $27.00–28.00+/hour

What You'll Do

• Lead by example by working alongside the team in every station—not from the sidelines.
• Help ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience through great food, speed, and service.
• Support scheduling, training, coaching, and accountability to help develop a strong team.
• Help oversee opening and closing procedures, cash accountability, inventory, vendor ordering, truck deliveries, and overall operational organization.
• Help identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and daily operations.
• Help wherever needed—including food preparation, stocking, receiving deliveries, cleaning, and maintaining an organized restaurant.
• Partner closely with the owners to help lead the day-to-day operations while we remain actively involved in the business.
• Grow into increased leadership responsibilities as the business continues to expand.

• Has 5+ years of leadership experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced customer service environment.

90-Day Introductory Period

Every new Operations Leader begins with a 90-day introductory period.

During this time, you'll learn our systems, build relationships with the team, and demonstrate your leadership skills. Your performance will be evaluated on:

Successful completion of the introductory period is required for continued employment and eligibility for a base wage increase and future performance bonuses.
