- Champion robust testing practices and maintain clear, accurate documentation across solutions and systems.
- Monitor community and developer activity, identify recurring issues, and share actionable insights with Professional Services, Product, and Engineering.
- Help grow and maintain a healthy, knowledgeable, and engaged developer ecosystem around Claris products and services.
- Stay current with the latest Claris platform capabilities, including AI integrations and recent FileMaker releases.
- Contribute customer, developer, and technical feedback that may help inform the future direction of the FileMaker platform.

Senior Level Professional Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level professional engineer job?
Employers at this level look for engineers who own outcomes, not just complete tasks. A Professional Engineer license is often required or strongly preferred. Demonstrating that you have led multidisciplinary teams, managed project delivery from scoping through closeout, and mentored junior engineers gives your application a clear edge over candidates who only show technical execution.
Which companies hire senior level professional engineers?
Companies hiring senior level professional engineers right now include Carollo Engineers, WSP, and TKDA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level is concentrated among engineering and construction firms, infrastructure owners, utilities, and large industrial or technology companies with sustained capital project pipelines.
Are there remote senior level professional engineer jobs?
Yes, though many roles still require on-site presence for project oversight and client coordination. About 20% of senior level professional engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with hybrid arrangements being most common for roles tied to active construction or field operations but with significant office-based design and management responsibilities.
What makes a professional engineer role senior level?
Senior level professional engineer roles are defined by ownership and scope. You set technical direction, hold accountability for project quality and delivery, and serve as the primary decision-maker on engineering matters. Leading or mentoring a team, managing client relationships, and contributing to proposals or business development are standard expectations that distinguish these roles from mid-level positions.
Which industries hire the most senior level professional engineers?
Senior Level professional engineer roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Construction & Real Estate, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors consistently demand licensed, experienced engineers to lead infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects where regulatory compliance, public safety, and complex technical coordination require senior-level judgment.
