Entry Level Project Executive Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level project executive job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates who can demonstrate basic project coordination skills, whether through internships, coursework, or hands-on volunteer work. Familiarity with project management tools, clear written communication, and the ability to track tasks and deadlines gives candidates a real edge. A portfolio showing organized planning work, even from academic or extracurricular projects, can strengthen an application significantly.
Which companies hire entry level project executives?
Companies hiring entry level project executives right now include Turner Construction Company, Coast Care, and Convergint, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a range of employers, including growing mid-size firms and larger organizations building out their project management pipelines with junior talent.
Are there remote entry level project executive jobs?
Yes, though most entry level project executive roles still favor in-person or hybrid arrangements to support onboarding and mentorship. About 0% of entry level project executive openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site work will find the widest selection of opportunities at this stage.
Are these new grad project executive jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic project work toward that threshold, and may ask for a portfolio rather than a traditional work history. Recent graduates entering the field are a strong fit for these openings.
Which industries hire the most entry level project executives?
Entry Level project executive roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, Education, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to drive entry level hiring because they run high volumes of concurrent projects and need organized junior contributors who can support planning, scheduling, and cross-team coordination from day one.
