A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning, a leading Oklahoma-based contractor with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking an organised and professional Project Manager to join our team. We are renowned for providing premier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, handling everything from central air conditioning units to ductless mini-splits and advanced indoor air quality systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality that our clients expect.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from conception to completion.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Coordinate and direct project teams, including our certified technicians and any necessary subcontractors.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their requirements are met and expectations are managed.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues that may arise, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the HVAC, construction, or a related trade industry.
A strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in project management software and other relevant IT tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive judgements under pressure.
A technical background or knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems would be a significant advantage.
