Role Overview
The Provider Relations & Onboarding Analyst is responsible for delivering seamless onboarding and support experience for healthcare providers within a medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) environment. This role serves as a primary point of contact for providers, overseeing onboarding, payer enrollment, and early-stage support while ensuring process accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders (providers and payers), this position plays a key role in improving provider experience, accelerating time-to-revenue, and driving scalable onboarding operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of providers from intake through go-live, ensuring readiness for billing operations
- Serve as the primary contact for providers, guiding them through onboarding requirements, timelines, and workflows
- Prepare, review, and submit payer enrollment applications (EDI, ERA, EFT) with a high level of accuracy
- Support providers during initial ramp-up (first 30–90 days), addressing billing, claim, and workflow-related issues
- Configure and validate provider setup in billing systems, clearinghouses, and related platforms
- Monitor enrollment pipeline, proactively follow up on pending applications, and resolve delays
- Maintain accurate provider records and enrollment documentation
- Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding execution
- Identify trends or bottlenecks in the enrollment process and recommend improvements
Role Scope & Growth
This role is designed to expand in scope with increasing ownership over systems, reporting, and process optimization. The position provides a pathway into advanced roles in operations, including Process Improvement Analyst or Operational Strategy.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
