- Provide inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and crisis management services to patients with diverse mental health needs.
- Perform psychiatric evaluations for patients with developmental disabilities, pediatric populations, geriatrics, and those experiencing PTSD or addiction issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring compliance with health regulation policies such as HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Document medical records accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while maintaining confidentiality.
- Offer specialized therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and consultation-liaison psychiatry to support recovery and well-being.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with active medical licensure in psychiatry.
- Completion of residency training in psychiatry with post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry settings.
- Proven experience working with children, adults, and elderly populations across inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and medical terminology.
