Who We Are
Imprint helps the world's best brands grow the lifetime value of their customers. We started with co-branded credit cards and rebuilt them to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. But the card is just the beginning. We combine advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and deep customer data to create delightful and personalized experiences for members as well as efficient and profitable relationships for our brand partners. Our robust technology and world-class operations allow us and our brand partners to offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank. In the U.S., co-branded cards alone account for over $300 billion in annual spend, and most still run on decades-old legacy bank systems. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, embeddable, and built for how people actually pay today. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, Ribbit, and Khosla Ventures, we're building a world-class team to redefine how people pay and how brands grow. If you want to move fast, solve hard problems, and own real outcomes, we want to meet you.
About The Role
Imprint's Marketing Design team builds and maintains the design systems behind a growing portfolio of partner brands — across email, web, in-app, paid, and print. Email is at the center of how we communicate with cardholders, and doing it well at scale requires both a reliable production engine and a high-quality validation layer. We’re Looking For An Email Automation & QA Specialist Who Thrives At The Intersection Of Content, Systems, Code, And Quality. You’ll Be The Person Who
- Understands how emails are designed, assembled, personalized, and launched in Braze (templates, catalogs, content blocks, Liquid, localization, and tracking).
- Builds AI automations to accelerate and standardize production.
- Introduces an AI QA layer that flags issues early (before human review), and owns the final human QA process and quality bar.
This is a systems-and-quality role: you’ll improve and maintain our automation and QA workflows so production stays reliable as we scale.
What you’ll own
Content catalog management & template assembly (Braze):
- Assemble new email templates from already-developed components in Braze, ensuring the final output matches the original Figma source and approved copy.
- Build, update, and maintain reusable content blocks and catalog entries across our partner programs.
- Manage content accuracy, localization, and versioning across a growing library of partner templates.
- Partner with the design technologist to flag structural/component issues and improve the underlying system.
- Build and iterate on AI-assisted workflows that convert Figma designs + copy into the content structures we use to power reusable, dynamic templates in Braze.
AI-first QA → human QA (quality pipeline):
- Design and implement an AI QA checklist that runs before human review (e.g., link/UTM validation, Liquid variable presence, localization completeness, dark mode considerations, compliance string presence, etc.).
- Maintain QA tooling outputs (logs, check reports, tracked issues) so QA is repeatable and measurable.
- Conduct end-to-end human QA on every email before it reaches the lifecycle team — proofreading, link validation, rendering checks across clients and dark mode, and dynamic content verification.
- Run inbox testing and document/resolve issues prior to deployment; continually improve the checklist based on issues found.
- Create lightweight tools/scripts/prompts that standardize repetitive tasks and improve QA quality.
- Own documentation, versioning, and ongoing maintenance of automations as components, partner programs, and requirements evolve.
Braze campaign & canvas support:
- Support Marketing Ops/Lifecycle with campaign and canvas builds by providing ready content catalogs and thoroughly validated templates in Braze.
- Manage content setup, dynamic content logic, and final QA to ensure accurate and timely launches.
- Maintain and update existing campaigns as partner programs evolve — offer swaps, compliance edits, copy updates — with automation where possible and careful review always.
Link tracking, and validation:
- Generate, manage, and QA campaign links ensuring all UTM tracking is accurate and functioning correctly.
- Work with Branch.io or similar deep linking platforms to set up and validate deep links.
- Build automated checks to catch common tracking issues before launch (broken links, missing UTMs, wrong destinations, mismatched deep links).
Code troubleshooting & safe updates:
- Troubleshoot and make updates to HTML and Liquid code within existing email templates (within established patterns and guardrails).
- Maintain a working knowledge of email client rendering and compatibility best practices.
- When automation or templates hit a complexity wall, escalate appropriately — and propose systemic fixes to reduce repeats.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Strong systems thinking and attention to detail — you catch edge cases and take pride in error-free output.
- Practical experience building or operating automation (AI-assisted workflows, scripts, no-code/low-code tools, or process automation) in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email — enough to troubleshoot, update, and QA code confidently.
- Experience with Liquid templating or similar dynamic content systems.
- Deep familiarity with how work moves through a production pipeline: inputs → assembly → validation → launch → iteration.
- Comfort with tooling and operational rigor: naming conventions, documentation, change control, and ongoing maintenance.
- Clear, proactive communication and ownership of deliverables.
Preferred
- Experience with Braze or a comparable lifecycle marketing platform.
- Experience with content catalog management and dynamic template logic.
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, link management, and campaign attribution.
- Experience with mobile deep linking platforms (e.g., Branch.io).
- Experience with inbox testing tools and client rendering QA.
- Experience working within a component-based design system.
How this role fits the team
This role sits within the design technology pillar of the Marketing Design team, working closely with the design technologist, content strategist, and senior designers — and partnering with Lifecycle/Marketing Ops for launches. You’ll receive finished designs and copy, build them accurately into Braze, and hand off validated campaigns to lifecycle managers. Your lane is automation + execution quality: improving how we produce emails, ensuring the system keeps working as we scale, and maintaining a consistent quality bar across every partner send.

Entry Level QA Automation Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level qa automation engineer job?
Employers hiring at this level look for hands-on evidence over years of experience. Build a portfolio with automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and contribute to open-source projects or internships to show real test coverage. Which companies hire entry level qa automation engineers?
Companies hiring entry level qa automation engineers right now include Imprint, Synechron, and VAST Data, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including fast-growing startups building out QA functions for the first time and established enterprises expanding automated testing coverage across their engineering teams.
Are there remote entry level qa automation engineer jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are available for candidates at this stage. About 20% of entry level qa automation engineer openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so candidates can apply across the country without relocating.
