Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems aligned with industry standards including HACCP, GMP, CGMP, and Lean management principles.
• Conduct comprehensive quality audits to verify adherence to quality standards in production and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Perform detailed quality inspections and control checks throughout the production cycle to ensure products meet specified tolerances using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards such as FDA regulations and ISO 13485 for medical device manufacturing.
• Manage documentation related to quality systems, audit reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
• Facilitate training sessions on quality assurance procedures and foster a culture of quality awareness across departments.

Requirements

• Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance or control.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards including HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP.
• Demonstrated ability to lead quality audits and perform thorough analysis using tools like Six Sigma and Lean management techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as FDA regulations relevant to manufacturing environments.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data and implement effective solutions.
• Effective team leadership skills combined with strong cross-functional communication abilities.
• Educational background in engineering, industrial technology, or related fields is preferred; certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are advantageous.
