Quality Assurance Manager Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a quality assurance manager job in Atlanta?
Focus on Atlanta's strongest hiring sectors: automotive and aerospace manufacturing in the metro's southwest corridors, healthcare systems anchored in Midtown and the Emory cluster, and consumer goods and logistics operations along the I-85 and I-285 belts. Candidates who combine ISO or Six Sigma credentials with hands-on experience in regulated industries stand out. Networking through Atlanta's manufacturing and supply chain associations also accelerates the search in this relationship-driven market.
Which companies hire quality assurance managers in Atlanta?
Employers hiring quality assurance managers in Atlanta right now include SkyChefs, State of Georgia, and Intercontinental Exchange, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, regional manufacturing plants, and fast-growing healthcare and technology firms means openings exist across a wide range of employer sizes and industries.
Are there remote quality assurance manager jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, but with limits: quality assurance manager roles that involve hands-on inspections, lab oversight, or production floor audits are predominantly on-site, while positions focused on systems, documentation, and compliance analysis are more remote-compatible. About 41% of quality assurance manager openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those roles tend to sit within technology, healthcare IT, and financial services firms based in Midtown or Buckhead.
How can I get a quality assurance manager job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is moving up from a quality assurance analyst, inspector, or coordinator role within one of the metro's manufacturing or healthcare employers, where internal promotions into management are common. Companies along the Hartsfield-Jackson logistics corridor and in Peachtree City's manufacturing cluster regularly hire entry-level quality staff with clear advancement tracks. Earning a Six Sigma Green Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate credential before applying gives candidates a measurable edge over the local competition.
Which industries hire the most quality assurance managers in Atlanta?
Most quality assurance manager openings in Atlanta sit in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Consulting & Professional Services, and Manufacturing, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's role as a regional hub for logistics and distribution, a growing technology sector, and a dense network of hospital systems and life sciences firms makes it one of the Southeast's most active markets for quality assurance leadership.
