What You Will Do:
- Lead the administration of prescribed radiation therapy, providing life-saving care to patients undergoing complex treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the physician and dosimetrist team to deliver and implement precise, appropriate, and individualized patient treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy by meticulously preparing and positioning patients and selecting the correct technical and anatomic parameters.
- Document detailed records of all therapy sessions, contributing to a seamless and high-quality patient care journey and continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and accredited environment by proactively ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory agency standards and operational protocols.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
