Delaware requires a separate state license issued by the Delaware Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline before you can practice. The application includes proof of ARRT certification, transcripts from your accredited program, and a background check. License renewals are required on a biennial basis.
How much do radiologic technologists make in Delaware?
Radiologic technologists in Delaware earn a median of about $84,210 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,770 for the lowest 10% to over $108,980 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire radiologic technologists in Delaware?

Delaware's hiring is anchored by its large integrated health systems and specialty imaging networks, which post openings across inpatient, outpatient, and mobile settings throughout the state.
Which Delaware cities have the most radiologic technologist jobs?
Dover, Newark, and Wilmington have the most radiologic technologist openings in Delaware. Wilmington leads because ChristianaCare's main campus and several large outpatient imaging facilities are based there, while Newark and Dover draw openings through Nemours Children's Health and Bayhealth Medical Center, which serve the state's academic and central-county populations respectively.
Are there remote radiologic technologist jobs in Delaware?
Yes, but they're rare. Radiologic technology is a hands-on clinical role that requires direct patient contact and on-site equipment operation, so most positions are fully on-site. About 0% of radiologic technologist openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those are almost exclusively in teleradiology support, scheduling coordination, or imaging quality review functions.
How can I get hired as a radiologic technologist in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for new-graduate or limited-experience positions at ChristianaCare or Bayhealth Medical Center, both of which hire new ARRT-certified grads into staff radiographer roles with structured onboarding. Lateral moves from radiologic technology aide, patient transport, or imaging support positions within Delaware hospital systems are a common route into paid tech roles. Having your Delaware state license in hand before applying, along with ARRT certification, removes the primary barrier most entry-level candidates face.
Where can I find and apply to radiologic technologist jobs in Delaware?
