About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CT / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. The ideal candidate will perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures while delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining imaging accuracy, and following established safety standards in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiology examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures.
Operate CT, radiology, and fluoroscopy equipment while ensuring image quality and radiation safety.
Document imaging procedures accurately using CPSI/Evident EMR.
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide timely diagnostic services.
Requirements
Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required.
Current California Fluoroscopy Certificate required.
Minimum 3 years of CT and Radiology experience required.
Strong knowledge of CT imaging, diagnostic radiology, and radiation safety practices.
Ability to participate in evening and weekend coverage as needed.
