We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Regional Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This is your opportunity to take full ownership of a sales territory, building lasting relationships with key clients in the construction, utility, and municipal sectors. You will be the face of WD Wright (one of Right Traffic's entities), acting as a trusted safety and logistics partner to your clients. You will spend your time in the field, on job sites, and meeting with decision-makers—not behind a desk.
If you are a strategic "hunter" with a passion for consultative selling and a proven track record in a related industry, we want to talk to you.
Please note: This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on sales execution and territory growth, with no direct reports to yourself.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify new business opportunities and achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Serve as a trusted safety and logistics partner for our clients, from initial site walk and needs analysis to project completion.
- Proactively hunt for new business by prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the construction, engineering, and utility industries.
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our full suite of services.
- Become an expert on our services and technology, including MOT/TCP design, smart work zone solutions, and specialized equipment.
- Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that articulate the value and safety benefits of our solutions.
- Prepare and present professional proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close new business.
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to service delivery, guaranteeing client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in our CRM system and provide regular reports on sales activity and forecasts.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications):
Required:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in a territory-based role.
- Demonstrated experience selling to the construction, utility, public works, or a related industrial sector.
- A verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas as an individual contributor.
- The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation; you are a natural self-starter who can manage your own schedule and pipeline effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with everyone from a project foreman to a company executive.
- Comfortable and credible on active construction sites and in industrial environments.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred:
- Specific experience in the traffic control industry.
- Familiarity with reading construction plans or traffic control plans (TCPs).
- ATSSA or other relevant traffic safety certifications are a major plus.

Regional Account Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a regional account manager job in Seattle?
Focus on the sectors driving the most hiring locally: enterprise technology, cloud services, healthcare technology, and logistics, all of which concentrate in South Lake Union, the Eastside, and Bellevue. Candidates who can show a book of relationships in the Pacific Northwest market stand out. Familiarity with the region's major B2B buyer landscape, including enterprise software procurement and healthcare systems, gives a practical edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire regional account managers in Seattle?
Employers hiring regional account managers in Seattle right now include Schindler, Amazon, and Bayer, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's hiring base skews heavily toward enterprise technology vendors, healthcare organizations, and supply chain companies with Pacific Northwest distribution networks.
Are there remote regional account manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though regional account management is territory-based by nature, so fully remote roles are less common than in purely analytical positions. About 42% of regional account manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with most requiring some in-market presence. Client-facing and account strategy work tends to stay hybrid, while forecasting and renewal management tasks are the most remote-friendly components.
How can I get a regional account manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is moving from a sales development or inside sales role at one of the Eastside or South Lake Union technology companies, where internal promotions to regional roles are common. Account coordinator and business development representative positions at Seattle's healthcare technology and SaaS firms frequently serve as stepping stones. Demonstrating knowledge of Pacific Northwest territory dynamics and a willingness to build local relationships from scratch improves your candidacy considerably.
Which industries hire the most regional account managers in Seattle?
Seattle regional account manager roles concentrate in Manufacturing, Technology & Software, and Retail, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Seattle's role as a hub for cloud computing, life sciences, and international trade through its port creates sustained demand for account managers who can manage complex, high-value regional relationships across these sectors.
