Mid Level Regional Operations Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level regional operations manager job?
Position yourself around ownership and results: highlight projects you led independently, processes you improved, and teams or workflows you coordinated across multiple locations. Tailor your resume to show cross-functional collaboration and measurable operational wins. Applicants who can point to concrete outcomes, such as reduced costs or faster fulfillment cycles, tend to stand out at this level over those who list only responsibilities.
Which companies hire mid level regional operations managers?
Companies hiring mid level regional operations managers right now include Uber, ABM Industries, and HCA Healthcare, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level is common among mid-size and enterprise organizations with distributed facilities, retail footprints, or supply chain networks that require on-the-ground operational coordination across regions.
Are there remote mid level regional operations manager jobs?
Yes, though many roles still require regular travel or on-site presence given the multi-location nature of the work. About 25% of mid level regional operations manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated in companies where reporting, vendor management, and team oversight can be handled effectively without a fixed regional office.
How do I move up to a mid level regional operations manager role?
Growth into a mid level regional operations manager role typically comes from taking on broader project ownership in an operations coordinator or area manager position, then demonstrating consistent results across multiple sites or teams. Building skills in process improvement, budget management, and cross-functional communication, while documenting measurable impact on efficiency or cost, signals readiness for the expanded scope these roles require.
Which industries hire the most mid level regional operations managers?
Mid Level regional operations manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Healthcare & Medical Services, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they operate distributed networks of locations, warehouses, or service teams that depend on experienced managers to maintain consistency and performance across a wide geography.
