About the Role
This is a high-visibility finance business partner role that sits at the center of a large and complex portfolio of SG&A spend. As the Manager, FP&A – SG&A Business Partner, you will own financial planning and partnership for four of Asurion's most senior stakeholder organizations — the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and General Counsel
You will operate with autonomy, manage executive-level relationships, and own end-to-end financial processes across a portfolio that spans Asurion's commercial, operational, and corporate functions. This role demands executive presence, independent judgment, and the ability to drive meaningful financial outcomes without extensive oversight.
You will report to the Director, FP&A – SG&A, and partner closely with the Sr. Director of Strategic Finance and the SG&A FP&A Center of Excellence team.
This role directly manages two Sr. Financial Analysts, each aligned to a subset of the portfolio. You are responsible for their day-to-day direction, quality of output, and professional development.
What You'll Own
Business Partnership — Client, Enterprise Enablement & Back Office
You are the primary finance partner across three distinct executive organizations — the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Back Office leadership (CFO and General Counsel). Each has its own cost structure, planning cycle, and expectations; your job is to own all three with equal depth and consistency.
- Serve as the day-to-day finance partner to each stakeholder organization, providing monthly business reviews, quarterly outlooks, and ongoing decision support
- Lead financial planning and investment analysis across commercial spend, operational functions, and corporate cost centers
- Partner with business leaders on resource allocation, workforce decisions, and organizational changes — bringing financial framing to decisions before they are made, not after
- Identify risks and opportunities across the portfolio and surface them proactively to leadership ahead of planning cycles
- Deliver executive-ready financial packages on time, every cycle, with clear narrative — outputs that require minimal revision and are used, not just received
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting activities across the full portfolio
- Lead budget development, variance analysis, and performance commentary for all supported functions
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and surface them proactively
- Partner with the SG&A COE team on headcount planning, consolidated reporting inputs, and AOP submissions
- Develop and maintain workforce planning models aligned to compensation, fringe, and organizational assumptions
Process & Stakeholder Excellence
- Maintain a consistent, proactive operating rhythm with each stakeholder organization — standing reviews, shared calendars, and aligned planning timelines
- Ensure executive-ready financial packages are delivered on time with a clear narrative and minimal revision
- Partner with HR, Accounting, and Finance Systems as needed to maintain data quality and resolve planning issues
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives led by the COE team
What You'll Bring
Experience
- 5–8 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning experience
- Demonstrated track record of owning executive-level financial relationships independently
- Experience supporting senior business leaders (VP+ preferred) in a finance business partner capacity
- Background in SG&A, commercial finance, or multi-function portfolio coverage is strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis capability
- Executive communication skills — you write and present with clarity, brevity, and confidence
- Ability to manage competing priorities across a large stakeholder portfolio without losing quality
- Proficiency in planning systems (OneStream, Hyperion, or equivalent) and BI/reporting tools
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with AI-enabled tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) for financial analysis
- deliverable as to a high-stakes executive ask
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- MBA or CPA viewed favorable

Regional Partner Manager Jobs in Nashville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a regional partner manager job in Nashville?
The strongest path into a regional partner manager role in Nashville is through the city's dense healthcare technology and logistics sectors, where channel and partner programs are well-established. Employers in Cool Springs and Brentwood tend to favor candidates with a background in B2B sales or channel development. Familiarity with Nashville's mid-market employer base and an existing network across Tennessee and the Southeast gives candidates a clear edge in local searches.
Which companies hire regional partner managers in Nashville?
Companies currently hiring regional partner managers in Nashville include Amazon, SoftwareOne, and Asurion, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nashville's mix of health tech firms, distribution companies, and enterprise software vendors makes it one of the more active mid-South markets for partner-facing roles.
Are there remote regional partner manager jobs in Nashville?
Yes, though remote availability is limited by nature since the role typically requires hands-on partner relationship work across a defined territory. About 62% of regional partner manager openings tied to Nashville are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with most flexibility found in the business development and account planning portions of the job rather than in-territory partner visits.
How can I get a regional partner manager job in Nashville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Nashville is through a channel sales coordinator or partner enablement associate role at one of the city's healthcare technology or logistics companies. Employers in the Cool Springs and Berry Hill corridors regularly hire from inside their sales development or account management teams. Demonstrating familiarity with CRM platforms and a willingness to own a Southeast territory from day one accelerates consideration for partner-focused openings.
Which industries hire the most regional partner managers in Nashville?
The sectors hiring the most regional partner managers in Nashville are Technology & Software, Retail, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nashville's concentration of health system vendors, third-party logistics firms, and growing enterprise software companies makes it a consistent source of regional and channel partner demand across the broader mid-South market.
