- Serve as the primary regional technical point of contact for customers, addressing performance concerns and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Partner with sales, account management, and operations teams to strengthen customer relationships, improve service delivery, and support customer retention and growth.
- Prepare and present technical findings, performance reviews, survey results, and treatment recommendations during customer meetings.
- Oversee or participate in laboratory testing, field trials, and product
- qualification activities for new or reformulated products.
- Support defining customer success criteria and communicate field performance metrics that support product selection, validation, and improvement.
- Monitor market dynamics, customer needs, and field performance trends to inform product development priorities.
- Analyze technical data and prepare clear reports, conclusions, and recommendations for internal and customer audiences.
- Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to validate, improve, and commercialize chemical formulations.
- Write technical recommendations and comprehensive survey summaries that include observations, testing methods, results, findings, conclusions, and next steps.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures, manuals, best practice documents, and technical resources.
- Ensure technical documentation and reporting align with company requirements, customer expectations, and applicable industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical service, field engineering, production chemistry, or a related technical role within the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or managing technical professionals.
- Hands-on experience with chemical treatment programs, including corrosion inhibition, scale control, emulsion breaking, biocides, and related applications.
- Strong background in field operations, technical data analysis, customer engagement, and treatment program optimization.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in technical writing, report preparation, data interpretation, and presentation development.
- Ability to lead, train, and influence field and technical teams effectively.
- Working knowledge of HSE standards, safe field practices, and applicable industry requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Ability and willingness to travel to field sites, including remote or challenging operating environments.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy.
- Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings.
