About Every Child Matters ABA

Every Child Matters ABA is seeking compassionate, dependable Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team and provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families.

Our Behavior Technicians work directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will play an important role in helping children develop meaningful skills, increase independence, reduce challenging behaviors, and improve their quality of life.

We are currently hiring for opportunities throughout the Boston area.

Bilingual Candidates Encouraged to Apply

Bilingual communication skills are a preferred qualification for some of our current cases.

We are particularly interested in candidates who speak:

• Portuguese
• Cape Verdean Creole
• Spanish

We currently have cases where Portuguese or Cape Verdean Creole is preferred, as well as Spanish-speaking clients. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to highlight their language skills and level of proficiency in their application.

Bilingual ability is not required for all positions.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in homes, schools, clinics, and/or community settings as outlined in the client's treatment plan.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and other functional skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to support client goals.
• Collect accurate and timely data during sessions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate relevant client information to the supervising BCBA.
• Follow behavior intervention plans and clinical recommendations under the direction of the supervising BCBA.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and other members of the client's care team.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA, BACB, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients.
• Accept and implement feedback from clinical supervisors to continually improve service delivery.

RBT Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavioral science, social work, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, education, childcare, or behavioral services is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and clinical direction.
• Comfortable working in home and community-based environments.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a clinical team.
• Compassionate, patient, and receptive to constructive feedback.

Behavior Technician Qualifications

Not yet RBT certified? That's okay!

We also welcome candidates who have completed, or are willing to complete, the 40-hour RBT coursework and are interested in pursuing RBT certification.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of the 40-hour RBT coursework preferred/required for applicable BT positions, or willingness to complete it with our company.
• Experience working with children, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, education, childcare, or behavioral services is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and clinical direction.
• Comfortable working in home and community-based environments.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and supervision.
• Compassionate, patient, and receptive to feedback.

Working Environment

Services may be provided in a variety of settings, including:

• Client homes
• Schools
• Community settings

The position requires the ability to participate in activities with clients and may involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and other physical activity associated with providing direct care. Employees may occasionally be required to assist with physical activities as permitted by the client's treatment plan and company policies.

Schedules may include afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends, depending on client needs and employee availability.

Schedule

We offer flexible part-time scheduling based on client needs and employee availability. Employees are welcome to build their caseload, up to 40 hours per week, depending on client and employee availability.

Many client sessions occur during after-school and evening hours, with some opportunities available during daytime hours and on weekends.
