Registered Nurse Jobs in Denver: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a registered nurse job in Denver?
Focus your search on Denver's Medical Center neighborhood and the Fitzsimons health campus in Aurora, where the highest concentration of hospital and specialty clinic jobs sit. Large academic medical centers, Level I trauma centers, and integrated health systems hire the most nurses here. Candidates with ICU, emergency, or oncology experience tend to move fastest in Denver's market, and many openings are posted directly on health system career portals.
Which companies hire registered nurses in Denver?
Companies currently hiring registered nurses in Denver include Denver Health, AdventHealth Porter, and HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Denver's hiring landscape is anchored by large integrated health systems, academic medical centers, and a growing network of ambulatory and specialty care facilities spread across the metro.
Are there remote registered nurse jobs in Denver?
Yes, though remote opportunities are limited by nature for a hands-on clinical role. About 13% of registered nurse openings tied to Denver are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, skewing toward telehealth triage, case management, and utilization review positions. Denver's growing managed care and health insurance sector is where most of those remote-eligible roles appear.
How can I get a registered nurse job in Denver with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Denver is through a nurse residency or new-graduate program at one of the city's larger hospital systems, which run structured cohorts several times a year. Fitzsimons-area hospitals and downtown academic centers are the most active with these programs. Applying to med-surg or telemetry units first is a common way in, and earning a BLS and ACLS certification before applying gives applications a concrete edge locally.
