American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring 3+ years of OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Level 1 Trauma Center with a 41-OR surgical suite
- Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM starts, with occasional float to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts
- Occasional floating to night shift, no more than 3 shifts per contract
- Weekend shifts required as needed per unit needs
- On-call required as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery
- Float required to other UCH operating rooms within scope
Requirements
- Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered

- Candidates who completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before rebooking
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per contract
- RTO is not allowed during specified blackout periods: September 2–12, October 25–November 4, November 22–December 2, and December 20–January 3
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at the local bill rate
