About Nomad Content Studio
Nomad Content Studio is a fast-growing content agency helping automotive dealerships create high-performing social media content, paid ad creative, and short-form video campaigns.
We work with dealerships across the country to help them create content that actually gets attention, drives leads, and builds their brand. Our team produces a high volume of organic and paid content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
We are looking for a full-time Performance Creative Strategist & Copywriter who can help us identify what is working, turn winning ideas into new concepts, write strong scripts and ad copy, and help coordinate the execution of creative ideas with our team and clients.
This is not a basic copywriting role. This is for someone who understands content, hooks, social media, paid ads, creative strategy, and how to use AI to produce better work faster.
Role Overview
The Performance Creative Strategist & Copywriter will be responsible for analyzing successful organic and paid content, identifying patterns behind why it worked, and creating new variations that can be used across client accounts.
You will write short-form video scripts, hooks, captions, paid ad copy, LinkedIn/X-style posts, campaign concepts, and client-facing creative ideas. You will also help coordinate the execution of those ideas with internal teams, videographers, and clients.
The right person is a self-starter who can look through Slack channels, spot what is needed, create solutions, and push ideas forward without waiting to be told every step.
Responsibilities
Analyze high-performing organic social content and paid ads to understand what is working and why.
Turn winning content concepts into multiple strong variations for different clients, offers, brands, and platforms.
Write short-form video scripts for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and paid ads.
Write paid ad copy for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital ad platforms.
Write hooks, captions, headlines, LinkedIn posts, X posts, content angles, and campaign concepts.
Use AI tools to speed up ideation, scripting, rewriting, and variation creation while still maintaining quality, taste, and originality.
Review client content, industry trends, competitor content, and social media examples to find new creative opportunities.
Proactively look through Slack channels, client notes, performance updates, and team conversations to identify where creative support is needed.
Work with internal team members to develop content ideas that are realistic to execute.
Communicate creative concepts clearly to clients when needed.
Coordinate with clients to bring content ideas to life, including helping organize props, products, items to ship, talking points, or dealership-specific details.
Collaborate with writers, editors, videographers, account managers, and leadership to improve creative output.
Help improve the quality, clarity, and performance of content across the company.
Create repeatable creative frameworks, templates, and variations that can be used across multiple clients.
What We’re Looking For
Strong copywriting ability across scripts, ads, hooks, captions, and social media posts.
Strong understanding of what makes content perform organically.
Strong understanding of paid ad creative, especially hooks, angles, offers, and direct response copy.
Ability to analyze a winning piece of content and create 10 strong variations from it.
Experience writing for LinkedIn and/or X in a sharp, conversational, thought-leadership style.
Comfortable using AI tools to create faster and better output.
Strong taste in social media content.
Ability to think strategically, not just write words.
A self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged.
Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients.
Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly.
Organized enough to help coordinate creative execution across multiple clients and projects.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of content.
Nice to Have
Experience in automotive, dealerships, media, advertising, or agency work.
Experience writing Meta ad copy or TikTok ad scripts.
Experience with short-form video content.
Experience ghostwriting LinkedIn or X posts.
Experience analyzing content performance data.
Experience working with creative teams, videographers, editors, or account managers.
Experience creating content systems, swipe files, templates, or creative frameworks.
This Role Is a Fit If
You can look at a viral video and explain why it worked.
You can take one winning idea and turn it into 10 new versions.
You can write in a way that sounds natural, sharp, and native to the platform.
You understand that AI is a tool, not a replacement for taste.
You can move fast without sacrificing quality.
You are comfortable taking ownership instead of waiting for perfect instructions.
You can communicate ideas clearly to a client.
You enjoy spotting trends, patterns, angles, and opportunities.
You are both creative and operational.
This Role Is Not a Fit If
You only want to write when someone gives you a detailed brief.
You need every assignment fully explained before starting.
You write generic AI-style copy without improving it.
You do not enjoy social media, short-form content, or advertising.
You are uncomfortable speaking with clients.
You do not like fast-paced work.
You struggle to manage multiple projects at once.
Compensation
Compensation will depend on experience.

Tips for Your Remote Copywriter Job Search
Build a portfolio that proves remote readiness
Include samples that show you can work from a brief alone, with no back-and-forth visible in the final product. Remote hiring managers want evidence you deliver clean, on-brand copy without hand-holding, so annotate two or three pieces with the objective you were given and the result you achieved.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote copywriter openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly. Applying in the first 48 hours of a posting going live meaningfully increases your chances of reaching the first review round.
Showcase async writing skills in your materials
Remote copywriter roles depend on written communication that is clear the first time, since there's no hallway conversation to clarify a brief. Your cover letter and application emails are live samples of that skill, so write them with the same care you'd give client copy.
Target remote-first companies specifically
Remote-first SaaS companies, digital agencies, and e-commerce brands have established remote workflows, consistent copywriting needs, and managers experienced at evaluating remote candidates. Filtering your search to companies that have hired remote copywriters before shortens the time to an offer.
Remote Copywriter Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote copywriter job?
Target companies that already run distributed teams, since they have workflows built for remote writers and hire for self-direction from day one. Remote employers screen for strong async communication, the ability to hit deadlines without check-ins, and a portfolio that shows results. Demonstrating that you can take a brief and deliver polished copy independently gives you a clear edge over candidates who need close supervision.
Which companies hire remote copywriters?
Employers currently hiring remote copywriters include G2, Kurv, and CELLA, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first firms and distributed teams across SaaS, e-commerce, and digital media tend to hire copywriters remotely most consistently.
Can you get a remote copywriter job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level copywriter roles are more competitive because you're expected to work independently from the start without on-site coaching. Smaller remote-first companies and content agencies are the most likely to hire entry-level writers. A portfolio of spec work, freelance samples, or published pieces shows you can produce real copy, and that matters more to remote hiring managers than a job title on a resume.
Do you need a degree for remote copywriter jobs?
Not always. Remote employers hiring copywriters weigh portfolio quality and demonstrated writing results over formal credentials. A degree in English, communications, or marketing can help, but hiring managers for remote roles consistently prioritize candidates who can show persuasive, on-brand copy across formats. Strong samples and a clear sense of voice often outweigh educational background in the remote hiring process.
Which industries hire the most remote copywriters?
The sectors hiring the most remote copywriters are Insurance, Marketing & Advertising, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These industries rely on distributed content and marketing teams that produce high volumes of copy across channels without requiring writers to be on-site.
