Remote Position — Washington State Preferred / Required
High Trek POS is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing software company and help build the next generation of our all-in-one platform for tour, activity, attraction, and recreation businesses.
We are a profitable, fast-growing startup with a small, highly capable team. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants ownership, variety, technical challenge, and the opportunity to help shape a product that is actively used every day by real businesses across the United States and Canada.
About High Trek POS
High Trek POS provides modern reservation, ticketing, waiver, and point-of-sale software for experience-based businesses. Our customers include ropes courses, zipline parks, museums, zoos, laser tag centers, axe throwing venues, trampoline parks, water parks, farms, family entertainment centers, and other tour and activity operators.
Our platform helps businesses manage online bookings, in-person POS sales, digital liability waivers, memberships, gift cards, food and beverage, group sales, customer communication, financial reporting, and more — all in one system.
We are not a large corporate software company. We are a focused, entrepreneurial team building practical tools that help operators grow revenue, reduce labor, and run better businesses.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience across the full application stack. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working from the user interface all the way through backend services, databases, integrations, infrastructure, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
Because we are a small startup, this is not a narrow role where you will be assigned one small function forever. You will work on a wide variety of meaningful projects, solve real customer problems, and have a direct impact on the success of the company and our customers.
The right person will be sharp, self-directed, practical, and capable of taking a requirement from idea to production. You should be comfortable making technical decisions, asking good questions, reviewing AI-assisted code critically, writing test scripts, improving architecture, and helping us continue to scale a reliable SaaS platform.
What You’ll Work On
You may be involved in:
- Building and improving modern Angular application features
- Developing and maintaining C# services and backend infrastructure
- Working with PostgreSQL databases, queries, schemas, and performance optimization
- Building integrations with third-party APIs and customer systems
- Improving AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability, and reliability
- Creating automated tests, validation scripts, and QA processes
- Reviewing AI-generated code and ensuring it is safe, correct, maintainable, and aligned with requirements
- Troubleshooting production issues and supporting system reliability
- Participating in an on-call rotation after an appropriate ramp-up period
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with modern Angular
- Strong C# / .NET backend development experience
- Strong PostgreSQL experience, including writing and optimizing queries
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and production SaaS environments
- Ability to work across the full stack without needing a large team around every function
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and code review skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions
- Experience writing test scripts and validating system behavior
- Strong communication skills and a practical, ownership-oriented mindset
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after ramp-up
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Codex, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools
- More importantly, the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code rather than blindly trust it
- Experience with SaaS products serving small or mid-sized businesses
- Experience with payment systems, booking systems, POS systems, waivers, CRM, reporting, or customer-facing operational software
- Strong references from people we may already know or can easily verify through our professional network
Who Will Succeed in This Role
This role is a strong fit for someone who:
- Wants to build and own important product areas
- Enjoys working on a wide variety of problems
- Takes pride in shipping reliable, useful software
- Is comfortable in a small-team startup environment
- Can work independently without needing every task fully pre-defined
- Wants to be part of a company for the long term
- Is looking for upside, responsibility, and meaningful impact
We are looking to invest in someone who wants to be part of High Trek POS for 3+ years and grow with the company.
Who This Role Is Not For
This role is probably not a fit if you are looking for a low-pressure job, a narrow role with limited responsibility, or a short stop before your next move. We are not looking for someone who frequently jumps from job to job or wants to be isolated from the broader needs of the business.
This is a rewarding role, but it is also a challenging one. The right candidate will be excited by that.
Location
This is a remote position, but we are seeking someone based in Washington State.
References
Recent professional references will be required. References within our extended professional network are a strong plus.

We are not working with recruiters for this role. Please do not solicit us with recruiting services or candidate submissions. Direct inquiries from candidates only.

Please send your resume, a brief note about why this role interests you, and examples of projects or systems you have worked on that demonstrate your ability to work across the full stack.
We are especially interested in hearing about systems you have helped build, scale, troubleshoot, or improve in production.

Tips for Your Remote Senior Angular Developer Job Search
Audit your resume for Angular version specifics
Hiring managers distinguish between Angular 2+ and AngularJS experience, and conflating the two signals outdated knowledge. Call out the specific Angular versions you've shipped to production and pair them with the release year so reviewers know exactly where your depth sits.
Showcase state management depth upfront
Senior roles almost always require NgRx, Akita, or a comparable reactive state library. List which you've used, describe the scale of the application, and note any custom middleware or performance tuning you added. Generic 'proficient in RxJS' claims get skipped.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists senior angular developer openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Filter openings by tech stack, not just title
A senior angular developer title can mean a pure frontend role or a full-stack position using Node or .NET on the backend. Read the requirements carefully and target listings where your depth matches both the Angular layer and any secondary stack before applying.
Prepare a module architecture walkthrough
Interviewers at the senior level routinely ask how you've structured large Angular monorepos or feature modules. Have a concrete example ready: what the folder structure looked like, how lazy loading was handled, and what tradeoffs you made for build performance.
Negotiate scope before negotiating offer terms
Before discussing compensation, confirm the team size, whether you'll own architectural decisions, and how greenfield versus legacy work is split. Mismatches in scope are the most common reason senior angular developers leave roles within a year, so clarify these details early.
