The team sits at the intersection of partner management, sales, product, operations, technical integrations, and merchant success. This team is responsible for growing DoorDash’s integrated merchant footprint across SMB New Verticals by building strong provider partnerships that align partner and DoorDash roadmaps and unlock scalable merchant growth.
About The Role
As a Senior Strategic Partner Manager, you will own the full lifecycle of a portfolio of strategic POS and middleware integration partners. You will act as the business owner for your partners, driving partner strategy, launch readiness, operational quality, growth, and executive alignment. You will manage 4-6 high-priority integration/channel partners and work closely with Sales, Implementation, Integration Onboarding, TAM, Product, Product Partnerships, Catalog, and GM teams. You will lead partner meetings, build quarterly plans, diagnose performance issues, manage escalations, and turn ambiguous partner problems into clear action plans. This role is ideal for someone who can operate in a fast-moving, highly cross-functional environment, use data to identify risks and opportunities, and build trust with external partners while holding teams accountable internally. You will report to a leader on the SMB New Verticals Channel Partnerships team. This role is remote, with travel as needed for partner meetings, QBRs, team offsites, and training.

- Own pilot-to-GA readiness for new integrations, including success criteria, launch playbooks, enablement, support paths, and risk mitigation.
- Shape product roadmap and go-to-market strategies based on merchant feedback.
- Serve as the liaison between our partners and DoorDash leadership, product, legal, operations, and logistics teams.

Tips for Your Remote Strategy Analyst Job Search
Show async work samples upfront
Remote strategy employers want evidence you can deliver analysis without hand-holding. Include links to slide decks, memos, or frameworks in your application materials so hiring managers can assess your thinking before the first call.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote strategy analyst openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your background and apply directly without sorting through listings that aren't actually remote.
Highlight tools remote strategy teams use
Call out proficiency with collaborative tools like Notion, Miro, or Google Slides alongside core analytics platforms. Remote strategy teams rely on these for async reviews and distributed workshops, and naming them signals you're ready to contribute from day one.
Prep for the written remote interview round
Many distributed companies add a written case or async video screen before live interviews. Practice structuring a strategic recommendation in under 500 words, because concise written communication is the skill remote strategy teams evaluate most closely.
Clarify remote expectations before accepting
Ask whether the role is fully distributed or hybrid-remote, which time zones the team works across, and how strategy projects are reviewed and approved. Those details determine whether the day-to-day actually matches what the posting described.
Remote Strategy Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote strategy analyst job?
Target companies that are fully distributed or have established remote strategy functions, since those teams already know how to onboard and manage analysts without an office. Remote employers screen for written communication skills, the ability to structure and deliver analysis asynchronously, and comfort driving projects without daily in-person check-ins. A portfolio of strategic frameworks, competitive analyses, or market research you can share digitally gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire remote strategy analysts?
Employers currently hiring remote strategy analysts include Centene, CVS Health, and Datavant, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote-first technology firms, distributed financial services companies, and strategy-heavy SaaS businesses make up the largest share of remote openings for this role.
Can you get a remote strategy analyst job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level strategy roles are harder to land because employers expect you to operate independently from day one without in-office coaching. Early-career candidates who do best show async-ready work samples such as slide decks, research memos, or case competition outputs. Targeting smaller remote-first companies or consulting firms with rotational programs widens the door considerably.
Do you need a degree for remote strategy analyst jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers list a degree as preferred rather than required, and what they actually screen for is demonstrated analytical thinking, structured communication, and the ability to produce clear strategic recommendations. A strong work portfolio, relevant certifications in data analysis or business strategy, and evidence of self-directed project completion can outweigh a formal credential with the right employer.
Which industries hire the most remote strategy analysts?
Remote strategy analyst roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Insurance, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Those sectors hire strategy analysts remotely because their distributed teams need people who can synthesize market data, build business cases, and communicate recommendations clearly across time zones without being on-site.
