Who's Hiring

Restaurant Operations Management Jobs in Indianapolis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a restaurant operations management job in Indianapolis?
Focus your search on Indianapolis's dense dining corridors, particularly Downtown, Broad Ripple, and the emerging Fountain Square and Bottleworks District scenes, where multi-unit operators and hospitality groups concentrate their management hiring. Candidates with hands-on experience running P&L, scheduling large FOH and BOH teams, and managing vendor relationships stand out. Familiarity with Indianapolis's convention and tourism-driven volume cycles gives you an additional edge with employers tied to the Indiana Convention Center area.
Which companies hire restaurant operations managements in Indianapolis?
Indianapolis restaurant operations management roles are posted by Zaxby's, KFC, and Salesforce and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local market includes a mix of regional multi-unit groups, national chain operators with district offices, and independent hospitality companies headquartered in or expanding through Indianapolis.
Are there remote restaurant operations management jobs in Indianapolis?
Yes, though remote work is rare for hands-on restaurant operations management roles since most positions require on-site presence to oversee staff, service, and facilities. About 13% of restaurant operations management openings tied to Indianapolis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those openings tend to involve corporate-level functions such as training program development, multi-unit analytics, or vendor procurement rather than floor-level operations.
How can I get a restaurant operations management job in Indianapolis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Indianapolis is moving into a shift supervisor or assistant manager role at one of the city's high-volume fast-casual or casual dining operators, which regularly promote from within. Indianapolis's growing hotel and convention hospitality sector, particularly properties tied to the Indiana Convention Center, also hires entry-level food and beverage supervisors who can advance into full operations management. Demonstrating experience with scheduling software, inventory control, or guest satisfaction metrics accelerates that progression.
