This role resides in Cadence’s Revenue Accounting team. It focuses on M&A activities and automation projects that impact revenue accounting; and the initiatives that impact the broader QtC business cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive automation and transformation projects with IT. Partner with various stakeholders in the project journey from PoC, design, to testing, go-Live.
- Represent Revenue Accounting, work collaboratively across various stakeholders to gauge useful information, test hypotheses, solve business problems.
- Act in both SME and PM capacity in the assigned projects.
- With M&A, Manage the revenue on-boarding and quarterly activities, including opening balance sheet, acquired backlog, unbilled, accounts receivable, etc.
- Perform revenue accounting assessment on the acquiree
- Provide on-going training to the acquiree on Cadence internal policies and procedures, develop actionable steps to perform timely close and reporting.
- Participate in the M&A integration meetings, advise the best practice, watch out for impacts on RA and the broader QtC teams.
- Prepare knowledge-sharing materials about the acquiree to the RA team or others to facilitate a successful full integration into the Cadence QtC process.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in ASC606 revenue accounting with public technology company experience. Somone with a well-rounded experience in technical revenue, revenue operations and systems. Big 4 experience is highly desired. You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, and have worked with enterprise CRM, CPQ, ERP, Reporting systems. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 8 years experience. Will consider less years experience if your past experience exhibit a high potential in fulfilling this job.

The annual salary range for California is $126,000 to $234,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
