Job Overview
This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership role.
We are seeking an experienced professional who will personally own production planning, scheduling, ERP optimization, capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing data accuracy.
The successful candidate will work directly within IFS ERP and be responsible for identifying and solving operational challenges through data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
This position is not focused on directing others from a distance. We are looking for someone who enjoys diving into the details, challenging assumptions, validating data, and driving measurable improvements in scheduling, inventory, throughput, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, labor availability, and material constraints.
- Lead MRP planning activities and optimize planning parameters within IFS ERP.
- Analyze ERP data, inventory trends, capacity utilization, and production performance to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Review and improve BOM accuracy, routing accuracy, lead times, labor standards, and manufacturing master data.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Finance to improve production flow and delivery performance.
- Drive improvements in schedule adherence, inventory turns, throughput, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Support manufacturing costing accuracy through validation of labor standards, routings, work centers, and production processes.
- Develop capacity models and production plans that support growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Develop and communicate meaningful KPIs and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as the business owner for planning and scheduling processes within IFS ERP and drive ongoing system optimization
Qualifications
- 10+ years of manufacturing planning and scheduling experience.
- Strong ERP experience; IFS ERP strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of MRP, production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with manufacturing costing, labor standards, and standard costs.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks through hands-on analysis and process improvement. CPIM certification preferred. CSCP certification a plus. Experience in electrical equipment, power systems, switchgear, battery systems, UPS systems, or related industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
