Risk Compliance Analyst Jobs in Pittsburgh: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a risk compliance analyst job in Pittsburgh?
Focus your search on Pittsburgh's financial institutions, regional health systems, and energy companies, which consistently drive the most local hiring in this field. The Golden Triangle and Uptown business districts are the densest clusters of compliance employers. Candidates with AML, operational risk, or internal audit backgrounds have a clear edge here, and familiarity with financial services or healthcare regulatory frameworks tends to separate applicants in Pittsburgh's market.
Which companies hire risk compliance analysts in Pittsburgh?
Companies currently hiring risk compliance analysts in Pittsburgh include Highmark Health, BNY, and Deloitte, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Pittsburgh's employer mix leans toward regional banks, large health networks, and energy and utilities companies, all of which maintain active compliance functions due to dense federal and state regulatory oversight.
Are there remote risk compliance analyst jobs in Pittsburgh?
Yes, though availability varies since risk compliance roles with hands-on audit, transaction monitoring, or in-person examination duties tend to require on-site presence. About 100% of risk compliance analyst openings tied to Pittsburgh are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with policy review, reporting, and data analysis tasks being the functions most commonly performed remotely in this market.
How can I get a risk compliance analyst job in Pittsburgh with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Pittsburgh is targeting compliance coordinator or audit associate roles at regional community banks or mid-size health systems, both of which hire junior candidates and provide structured compliance training. Lateral moves from paralegal, quality assurance, or financial operations backgrounds are common. Completing a CRCM or CAMS foundational course strengthens a thin resume, and Pittsburgh's tight-knit banking community means referrals from professional groups like local ACAMS chapters carry real weight.
Which industries hire the most risk compliance analysts in Pittsburgh?
Most risk compliance analyst openings in Pittsburgh sit in Technology & Software, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Pittsburgh's deep roots in banking, healthcare delivery, and natural resources mean these sectors face overlapping federal regulatory requirements, sustaining consistent demand for analysts who can manage multi-framework compliance programs locally.
