Roofing Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a roofing job in Atlanta?
Roofing jobs in Atlanta are most plentiful with residential contractors serving fast-growing suburbs like Gwinnett County, roofing and restoration companies working commercial redevelopment in Midtown and Buckhead, and storm-damage specialists active after severe weather seasons. Candidates with OSHA 10 certification, experience with TPO or shingle systems, and a reliable transportation history stand out in Atlanta's competitive field crews.
Which companies hire roofings in Atlanta?
Atlanta roofing roles are posted by Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing, Colony Roofers, and TeamCraft Roofing and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Atlanta's mix of large regional restoration companies, commercial roofing contractors serving the airport corridor, and smaller residential specialists creates a wide range of employer types actively hiring.
Are there remote roofing jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, but only for a narrow slice of roles, since most roofing work is hands-on and requires a physical presence on job sites. About 83% of roofing openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, largely in estimating, project coordination, and sales. Those administrative and estimating functions tied to Atlanta contractors are the most common remote-eligible positions.
How can I get a roofing job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is joining a residential roofing crew as a laborer or helper, which requires no prior experience and is how most Atlanta roofers start. Atlanta-area contractors hiring for storm-damage restoration after hail or wind events frequently bring on entry-level helpers, and local trade staffing agencies in the metro area often place workers on short-term roofing crews that convert to full-time roles.
