As a Data Architect with SAP Migration, you’ll shape data architecture and guide data migration from existing platforms to SAP environments. You’ll turn business and technical needs into secure, scalable designs that support reliable operations and useful analytics. Duties
- Design data models, database systems, and cloud database architecture for SAP migration and connected platforms.
- Plan and deliver data management integration, data warehousing design and implementation, and extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines.
- Define migration approaches for relational databases and NoSQL systems, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud services such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Build and optimize data flows using tools and platforms such as Informatica, Spark, Hadoop, and Azure Data Lake; apply performance tuning and scalability practices.
- Partner with engineering, analytics, and business intelligence teams in an Agile environment; document architecture decisions and system design for development.
Qualifications
- Experience in data architecture design, data modeling projects, database design, data analytics, and data warehouse or big data environments.
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least some of Java, Python, or Bash (Unix shell); familiarity with linked data and master data management.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, data warehousing, ETL pipeline development, and analytics across Azure, AWS, or comparable platforms.
- Ability to assess requirements, communicate trade-offs, and design maintainable, integrated data solutions.
- Experience with SAP migration is relevant; familiarity with additional database, integration, or cloud technologies is welcome.
Pay: $55.00 - $148,000.00 per hour
