ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define requirements for ASIC design, verification, and physical implementation teams.
- Evaluate area, performance, power, and ease-of-implementation trade-offs between different implementation solutions.
- Review product and FW requirements.
- Work with other ASIC architects and with system architects to define and document the feature sets and data/control flows implemented by the controller and each of its component Ips.
- Review and configure 3rd party Ips.
- Support other teams in the ASIC organization and review their work.
- Support product teams with documentation, code-reviews, and silicon debug.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improving design quality and design practices.
- Analyze performance of controller components and subsystems.
- Review functionality of implemented logic circuits.
- Suggest improvements and enhancements to the controller architecture.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field. Position requires:
- Scripting/Programming languages: Perl, Python, C, or Unix shell scripts;
- HDL languages: Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL;
- RTL design and verification; and
- Physical design aspects: layout, timing analysis, or power optimization.
COMPENSATION
- The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $143,222.01 - $176,000.00. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
