Experience Design Intern
As an Experience Design Intern at Monigle, you will be responsible for assisting the Experience team in creating branded experiences and strategies for a variety of industries–healthcare, retail, financial services, and more. You will collaborate with team members to deliver strategically aligned, fresh, and impactful ideas and executions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the experience design team to develop creative strategies, concepts and solutions for various brand experience projects
- Contribute to the creation of mood boards, renderings, client presentations, and extending brand elements to experiences and touchpoints in creative ways
- Support the team with environmental graphic design concepts and messaging strategies for interior spaces (when applicable)
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in experience design
Qualifications
- Fourth- or fifth-year Design student or previous experience working in a studio / agency
- Strong portfolio showcasing a robust 3D design skillset
- Interest in design thinking
- Familiar with reading architectural plans and floor plans
- Competent in rendering programs such as SketchUp and Twinmotion
- Familiar with / competent in Adobe Suite
- Confident in using PPT to build design decks
- Proactive, strong communication skills, attention to detail, collaborative, ability to work autonomously
Skills
Hard skills:
- SketchUp / other rendering programs is a bonus
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
- Comfortable using PowerPoint to build and contribute to design decks
Soft skills:
- Ability to problem solve both autonomously and collaboratively
- Awareness of time management and is able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proactively communicates questions, concerns, and status updates to the team
Details
- Potential to work fully remote, in our Denver office, or a hybrid in our New York office; open to conversation about preference of location.
- Compensation: $20-24/hr.
- Monigle does not offer relocation or housing stipends. It’s the responsibility of the intern to find and finance their own housing situation. Monigle employees are happy to provide neighborhood/housing suggestions.
