Entry Level Senior Researcher Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level senior researcher job?
Entry level senior researcher roles reward candidates who can show hands-on research experience, even from coursework, internships, or independent projects. Employers at this level look for familiarity with research methodologies, data analysis tools, and clear written communication. A well-organized portfolio that demonstrates how you frame a research question and present findings gives you a concrete edge over candidates who rely on credentials alone.
Which companies hire entry level senior researchers?
Companies hiring entry level senior researchers right now include Distyl, Apple, and KPMG, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring tends to come from a mix of large research-driven organizations, consulting firms, and technology companies that bring on junior researchers to support established teams.
Are there remote entry level senior researcher jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up a meaningful share of entry level openings. About 21% of entry level senior researcher openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to flexible arrangements will find options alongside traditional office-based positions.
