How do you become a senior technical training developer in Alaska?

Alaska does not require a state-issued license for this role, but earning credentials such as the ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development strengthens candidacy. Employers in Alaska's energy and government sectors often prefer candidates with direct experience in safety-critical or compliance-driven training environments.
Which companies hire senior technical training developers in Alaska?
Alaska senior technical training developer roles are posted by CVS Health, Assets, and Artius Solutions and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Alaska's oil and gas, pipeline, and state government sectors tend to be the most consistent sources of senior-level openings in this field.
Which Alaska cities have the most senior technical training developer jobs?
Anchorage and Alaska lead Alaska in senior technical training developer openings. Anchorage accounts for the largest share because it serves as headquarters for most of the state's major employers in energy, defense, and government, while Fairbanks and Juneau generate openings through University of Alaska campuses, military installations, and state agency offices.

Curriculum authoring, needs assessments, and virtual facilitation are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a senior technical training developer in Alaska with little or no experience?
