Your role
Join our team as a Field Service Engineer in a hands-on, customer-focused role primarily working onsite at a customer facility in Nashville, TN .
You’ll provide technical support through the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and software-enabled solutions . You’ll work closely with the customer to solve technical challenges, minimize downtime, provide training, and ensure reliable equipment performance.

Your day-to-day
Specific Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Desoutter and Chicago Pneumatic industrial tools and software solutions .
- Configure and support solutions including Pivotware, DeMeter, Nexonar, Automated Robot Guidance (ARG), and tightening systems .
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and calibration of DC electric tools, air tools, quality tools, and related equipment .
- Provide technical training and support to customers and internal teams to ensure effective solution adoption.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and software-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Document service activities and build strong customer relationships through responsive, professional support.
Your skills and experience
- STEM degree or equivalent experience in a technical, manufacturing, or software‑related field.
- 5+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and mechanical solutions in manufacturing (or early‑career with strong relevant education).
- Strong technical skills in configuring low‑code applications and implementing technologies such as Pivotware, DeMeter, Nexonar, ARG, and tightening/calibration systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities , with the capability to use diagnostics, knowledge bases, and tools to resolve issues independently.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills to build rapport and deliver effective training to customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently , manage time well, and operate professionally in field‑based environments.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours and willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and Canada (with occasional travel to Mexico).
