Job Overview

Elex Solutions builds the electrical infrastructure behind California's electrification push — commercial and multi-family solar, and EV charging. We're hiring a Project Manager / Site Superintendent to own projects including scheduling, crew, and the client relationship.

This is a hybrid desk-and-field role. You'll manage the numbers and the paperwork, and you'll be on site often enough to know exactly what's happening in the ground and on the roof. If you like owning a job from award through PTO and closeout, this is that seat.

What you'll do

• Run multiple concurrent solar, storage, and EV charging projects across commercial and multi-family sites
• Own labor hour and material budgets, track cost-to-complete, and flag variances before they become write-offs
• Build and hold the schedule against GC-set milestones; coordinate with GCs, owners, property managers, EPCs, and trade partners
• Supervise field crews and subcontractors on site — layout, sequencing, quality, and safety
• Manage utility coordination and interconnection with PG&E and other AHJs: make-ready, service upgrades, submittals, inspections, PTO
• Keep field documentation current in our project systems and support prevailing wage compliance on public works jobs

What you need

• 5+ years managing or superintending electrical construction, with direct experience on multi-family and commercial solar and EV charging installations
• Working command of NEC plus Title 24 and CALGreen EV-ready requirements
• Proven track record running budgets and schedules on projects in the $100K–$2M+ range
• Experience with California utility interconnection and AHJ permitting
• Ability to read and coordinate electrical plans, single-lines, and submittals
• Strong communication with GCs, owners, and inspectors — you're the face of the job
• Valid California driver's license

Nice to have

• California DIR General Electrician certification
• Prevailing wage / public works experience (certified payroll, DIR eCPR, apprentice ratios)
• OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and EVITP certification

Compensation & benefits

• $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
