You'll contribute to systems that clarify problem statements, generate implementation plans, run a conversational Slack intake experience, and assist engineers with repository discovery, plan execution, testing, and pull request creation. You'll also help build the platform behaviors—permissions, auditability, evaluation, observability, rollback, and cost controls—that make all of this dependable at scale.
The Developer Productivity team owns the tooling, automation, and standards that make engineers across ZoomInfo more productive, and is becoming the company's center of gravity for AI-assisted development. You'll be working within an ecosystem of internal developer platforms, PR and workflow automation tools, and AI devex tooling that spans code review, dependency management, and agent orchestration.

What You'll Do
- Help design and build systems that convert bug reports and feature requests into clarified problem statements, implementation plans, and approval gates before any execution
- Contribute to a conversational Slack intake experience that notifies the right people, asks targeted follow-up questions, converts confirmed requirements into Jira, and hands work to the delivery workflow
- Help normalize additional sources of demand—such as help desk, Salesforce, or operational alerts—while preserving provenance, urgency, ownership, and customer context
- Build tooling that assists engineers with implementation: repository discovery, plan execution, automated testing, pull request creation, and concise evidence of what changed
- Contribute to automated pull request review for correctness, regressions, test coverage, maintainability, and policy concerns, while keeping merge approval with people
- Help build the platform behaviors that make agentic workflows dependable: permissions, auditability, evaluation, observability, rollback, and cost controls
- Leverage AI-powered development tools (such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex technical challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with teammates
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed, agentic systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of backend software development experience, with strong proficiency in Typescript, NodeJs, and ReactJS
- Experience designing and troubleshooting distributed systems
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Familiarity integrating third-party APIs (e.g., Jira, Slack, Salesforce)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Hands-on experience building or working with LLM-based or agentic systems (agent orchestration, tool-calling, evaluation frameworks)
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with internal developer productivity platforms—data pipelines/lakes, PR automation and AI code review tooling, dependency management automation, or similar
- Experience with Node.js or Java for backend development
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability/monitoring practices
