Position Summary
Qsource is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the implementation and ongoing management of healthcare quality improvement initiatives. This position serves as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements while coordinating project activities, facilitating communication, and supporting successful project implementation.
The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and experienced in coordinating healthcare projects, building client relationships, and managing multiple priorities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare leaders, providers, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate implementation activities and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinical, quality, analytics, and operational staff.
- Prepare project plans, progress reports, meeting summaries, and executive updates.
- Support implementation of workflow improvements and process optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, training activities, and communication plans.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and meet client expectations.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives through data-driven project management.
- Travel as needed to support client engagement and project success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work, Project Management, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of healthcare project management or healthcare operations experience.
- Experience managing complex healthcare or government-funded projects preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to travel regularly and maintain a part-time on-site presence at a client location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in healthcare quality improvement, regulatory compliance, managed care, long-term care, behavioral health, public health, or Medicaid programs.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and performance measurement.
Travel Requirements
- Employee will work remotely with a regular on-site presence in Augusta, Maine
