The essence of a Solution Architect role is the conversion of business and clinical requirements into a software and data architecture and design that becomes the blueprint for the solution to be deployed. The Solution Architect within Summa’s IT&S function provides technology services, data management and analysis, and systems that enable self-service reporting, analytics, and decision support capabilities within a Summa business area such as Finance/Revenue Cycle, Clinical/Hospital operations, Care Quality/Research, Audit, Accountable Care Organization operations, and provider/practice support. The Solution Architect, through internal knowledge of core applications, software tools, and delivery processes, provides system services that help business areas gain insight and understand past business performance to drive business planning, decision making, and support for business initiatives and programs.

Mid Level Solution Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level solution manager job?
Position yourself around ownership, not just participation. Highlight projects where you drove the full solution lifecycle, coordinated across teams, and delivered measurable results without heavy supervision. Tailor your resume to show client-facing impact and technical fluency in equal measure. Employers at this level want evidence you can handle complexity independently, so lead with outcomes over responsibilities in every application.
Which companies hire mid level solution managers?
Companies hiring mid level solution managers right now include Salesforce, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Snowflake, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. At this level, hiring comes from a mix of enterprise technology firms, management consultancies, and large-scale service organizations that need professionals who can bridge client needs and internal delivery teams without constant escalation.
Are there remote mid level solution manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are widely available for professionals at this stage. About 43% of mid level solution manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's collaborative but largely async-friendly nature. On-site roles do exist, particularly in industries where client relationships or regulated environments require in-person presence.
How do I move up to a mid level solution manager role?
The path from entry level to mid level is built through progressively larger ownership. Early on, focus on mastering the fundamentals of solution design and client communication, then volunteer for projects where you can own a defined scope rather than just contribute to one. Demonstrating that you can coordinate across functions, resolve ambiguity independently, and deliver measurable outcomes consistently is what signals readiness for mid level responsibility.
Which industries hire the most mid level solution managers?
Mid Level solution manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Electronics & Hardware, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive demand because they rely on complex product and service deployments that require a professional layer between technical teams and clients, a gap that mid level solution managers are specifically positioned to fill.
