How do I get a solution manager job in Austin?
Focus your search on Austin's enterprise software, cloud services, and telecom sectors, where solution manager demand runs highest. Roles concentrate at companies in the Domain and along the North Lamar and 183 corridors. Candidates who can demonstrate pre-sales experience, a history of closing complex deals, and familiarity with SaaS or managed services platforms stand out most in Austin's market.
Which companies hire solution managers in Austin?

About 47% of solution manager openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of June 2026. Cloud and SaaS-focused roles at Austin's enterprise tech employers lean most heavily toward hybrid or full-remote arrangements.
How can I get a solution manager job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is moving laterally from a technical support, sales engineer, or account management role at one of the city's mid-size SaaS or managed services companies. Austin employers frequently promote internally from customer success and technical consultant positions into solution manager roles. Earning a vendor certification from companies like Cisco, Salesforce, or ServiceNow, all of which have a local Austin presence, gives entry-level candidates a concrete edge.
